HEPA air filtration was developed during the Manhattan Project to protect plants from radioactive particles. Pre-Filter
Before air goes through an extensive process of cleaning, the S1000 first filtrates air through a pre-filter. The pre-filter collects larger pieces of debris from the air and passes it through for deeper cleansing.

HEPA Filter
HEPA filters can purify 99.97% of dust, dirt, dander, pollen, bacteria, and other contaminants all the way down to 0.3 microns. This makes it perfect for allergy or asthma suffers, or anyone else who suffers from labored breathing.

Ionizer
Ionizers purify the air by releasing negative ions that attach themselves to particles as small as 0.01 microns. The ionizer in a S1000 releases virtually no ozone. This further purifies the air drawn in from HEPA filters, allowing tiny particles to drop for collection.

Energy-Saving
This unit runs at an extremely low wattage. Even at its highest power level, the S1000 uses little energy, making it extremely efficient and environmentally as well as economically friendly.

Bought this product from another company, and can not get replacement HEPA and charcoal filters. Went to Surround Air website, NO REPLACEMENT FILTERS!! Said they would contact me when restocked, not contacted yet, been a long time!!! The reason I bought this product was so I could REPLACE filters and NOT WASH them!
